Prayer Spaces

As a Christian faith community being able to spend time in the conscious presence of God is vital. The simplest and most powerful way is prayer. St Peter’s is blessed to have several spaces that are conducive to the art of prayer, they are the Church worship space, the Lady Chapel as well as several garden spaces outside. (Olive Tree’s and St Peter monument, the Memorial Garden and Denise’s Garden). A bench is located by the Olive Tree’s and St Peter monument on the Alma Road side of the property where visitors can sit as they take time to reflect. Votive candles are typically available for those who find this a helpful method of prayer.
