St. Peter's Anglican church's ministry takes place at three levels.
Biblical teaching and nurturing is an important aspect of Christian spirituality. This takes place usually during Sunday services. Apart from this, we have regular Lenten Bible studies. The Vicar can be approached to have Bible based lessons especially leading to baptism and confirmation.
Special prayers for those in need during the Sunday Service.
Marriage Counselling
Pastoral visits to those in need.
Pastoral visits to those who are hospitalised and sick.
Pastoral Counselling.
Local community based ministries
The Church has a calling also to serve its non-members; hence we focus on outreach programs irrespective of faith, language, gender or nationality.
We have an open-door policy whereby anyone can come in, rest and pray.
Our Parish raises funds for scholarships every year to support a few students attending Watsonia North Primary School.
Vicar and pastoral assistants provide Holy Communion services to local institutions like Bundoora Extended Care, Heritage Lakes, Blue Cross The Boulevard Aged Care and Vasey House.
We provide our church hall for community events and discounted rates to special groups.
We have partnership with Concord school, Bundoora.
We donate non-perishable groceries and toiletries to Anglicare Preston on a regular basis.
We believe in promoting harmony and hence actively take part in Whittlesea Interfaith activities.
'Cross-Keys', a bi-monthly Newsletter with interesting articles is made available for circulation.
Mum's Market and Garden Stall held at our church attracts the local crowd.
International ministries
This is being done through Anglican Board of Mission to support two international projects every year.
'Missions Jar' collections are given to ABM to support another project every year.
Above all, we PRAY for many world-wide activities and other ministries on a regular basis.
